WELLINGTON
Our trip to Wellington began leaving Bali (Indonesia) , on January 7 at 12:45 am. The journey was very comfortable so we could sleep a lot during the flight.

The hostesses were very nice, and without realizing it we arrived in Melbourne (Australia) which it was the first stopover of two of our trip to Wellington (New Zealand). We arrived at 21:10 am.
We waited 11 hours for our flight to Auckland (New Zealand) to depart. We bought some magazines and we were doing crosswords so that time would pass faster.
At 8:00 we left for Wellington, the truth is that we did not like this trip because it was very busy and we could not rest.
The day, 8 at 9:10 am we arrived in Wellington the capital of New Zealand. During the flight they gave us information about the climate,flora, fauna and localitation.
New Zealand belongs to the continent of Oceania. The New Zealand flag is a blue cloth with the flag of the United Kingdom in the canton and four red white-threaded stars, representing the constellation of the Southern Cross, on the swing. In addition to this national flag, it has two national pavilions, one civil and one military. They are practically the same as the national flag, varying only the color of the cloth; red in civil, with white stars, and white in war, with red stars.
The history of the flag of this nation dates back to 1834, when the aboriginal peoples of New Zealand chose the first teach. The flag that is still used today was introduced in 1869, although it was not officially adopted until 1902.
History of New Zealand Wellington is the capital and the second most populous city in the urban area of New Zealand. Wellington (in Maori: Te Whanganui-a-Tara or Pōneke). With 179 463 habitants.
It is located in the south west of the north of the island, between the Strait of Cook and the remutaka range. Wellington features a temeperature marine climate and is the world´s windiest city by average wind speed. In wellington summers are comfortable, winters are cold and wet, and it is windy and partly cloudy all year around.During the courses of the year, the temperature range from 7 degrees to 20 degrees and rarely falls below 4 degrees or rise to more 23 degrees.
The great amount of rain that falls in New Zealand in adition to meny hours of sunshine make the country have a lush and diberse flora, where 80 percent of the flora native.

According to the 2006 census, 174 different languages are spoken in New Zealand. After English and Maori, the most common are: Samoan (85,428 speakers), French (53,757 speakers), Hindi (44,589 speakers), and Cantonese (44,154 speakers).
We picked up the luggage and went outside the terminal where a taxi was waiting for us, it took us 21 minutes to get to the hotel, called Trinity Hotel. It cost us € 248 per person.
The first thing we did was enter to the room and go to sleep to get up early and get to know Wellington.
The next day we went to the Wellington Museum, it took 10 minutes walking. The Wellington Museum shares the fascinating stories of the Wellington region. All located within the beautiful heritage building of 1892 designed by the prominent architect Frederick of Jersey Clere. When you enter the Wellington Museum, you are transported directly to the Wellington coast in the late 1800s, a time when the Museum was known as the Bond Store, where it was an attached cargo warehouse that stored merchandise.
After so much history we wanted to eat, we went to the restaurant Dillingers Brasserie & Bar. We could taste traditional New Zealand food, the famous oysters and other typical fish and very rich salads.

Later in the afternoon we visited the natural park of Zealandia Ecosanctuary, a natural reserve with native species, such as birds, lizards, frogs, trees and rare plants. It took 12 minutes by taxi.
We were visiting the city of Wellington and buying souvenirs and local crafts from this beautiful country.

The Kiwi in New ZeadlandThe next day, we woke up early as we wanted to take advantage of the day and finish seeing the city. We went on an excursion to Johnsonville Park, this reserve is part of one of the largest areas of continuous native vegetation in the city, which forms a key native ecosystem.
We took the flight back at 16:00 am, destination Sydney (Australia). In Sydney we landed at 17:40 am. At 21:45 we took the flight to Dubai (United Emirates). We landed in Dubai at 05:15 am and then catch the flight from Manchester (United Kingdom) at 11:15 . Finally we arrive Tenerife at 21:05 am,and our families were waiting for us at the airport gate.
It was a wonderful trip that we could enjoy and get to know very interesting cities and we were filled with its culture, history and traditions.
